As newbies to our local Addy’s circuit, we were pretty stoked to be recognized for some of our most well-known projects to date.
Our work for Nickelodeon won Gold and was also selected as Best of The Bay for online interactive. Growing up as 80s and 90s kids, teaming up with Nickelodeon was a career highlight for the entire team. The app for the notorious Viacom company features everyone’s lovable porous friend, SpongeBob Squarepants. Using gyroscope technology on an iPad, young users navigate Spongebob through a timed labyrinth during check-in at Nickelodeon hotels around the world. The application features an original concept, art direction, and was drawn entirely free-hand.
Similarly, Eye Heart World, a non-profit dedicated to fighting human trafficking within the U.S. took home Silver in the Public Service online/interactive category. With roots in the Tampa Bay area, our friends at Eye Heart World initially approached us for a branding and web project. Over a relationship spanning several years and relocations, our connection with the founders and their cause remained close. In 2014 we launched an updated e-commerce site that places an emphasis on product-related initiatives, clearly communicating the value and impact of each purchase. Since launch of their new site, Eye Heart World has opened a new office, experienced 50% increase in monthly donors and a 370% increase in overall site visits.
In the online interactive advertising industry category Mod Squad, a digital engagement company won Silver. Boasting a community of over 10,000 moderators, Mod Squad manages voices for some of the world’s largest brands. The brand video brings the Squad’s iconic British Mod vibe into the 21st century. Footage shot at Mod Squad headquarters in New York City and San Francisco showcases a modern backdrop for this quirky promo.
We had a great time, and always love seeing the big things other local agencies are up to. Thanks for the love Addys, ‘Till next year!
